Since I am all done with school, I have more time to do fun things! My sister came over and we
made cake pops! They are so fun and so easy. yummy!
What we have been up to
So most of you know that I am not a very dedicated blogger, but I do try to update all 6 of our followers whenever I can =)! Since my graduation on June 18th, there has been a lot going on in our little family!
We celebrated our first of many anniversaries on June 26! And because Gerrit is so busy with school and with both of us working on the weekends we weren't able to do a short getaway this year, but did enjoy a fun day eating out for every meal and enjoying a beautiful day in Long Beach at the Aquarium of the Pacific. It was so good to just have a day to ourselves just relaxing and enjoying each other! I just have to say that I love my husband SO much. Its crazy. Cant wait to celebrate so many more years as your wife!
On July 13, I took the NCLEX-RN exam and 3 days later found out that I passed! I am an official RN! It feels SOO good to say that. AND I found out yesterday that I am officially employed as a Registered Nurse at Riverside Community Hospital! God has been SO good to us. I am amazed everyday at how He provides for us!
Gerrit is finishing up his first year at Southern California University of Health Sciences! One down, three to go!! It has been a tough year with him being gone at school all the time, but we know that this is a season and we are looking forward to what God has planned for us in the next few years!
